Section 37

A participant may, within 14 days after the delivery of a family takaful certificate to him or, if delivered at his residence, to a person who is resident therein, return the certificate to the takaful operator with an objection in writing to any term or condition of the certificate and the takaful operator shall forthwith refund any contribution which has been paid in respect of the certificate which shall thereupon be cancelled.

For the purposes of this section, a certificate shall be deemed to be returned to a takaful operator with an objection when the certificate with the objection in writing are received by the takaful operator or are posted to the takaful operator by registered post.
