Section 163
(1)
For the avoidance of doubt, it is hereby declared that His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan shall not be compellable to attend any proceedings in, or be summoned before. any Syariah Court.
(2)
In exercise of the powers conferred under this Chapter, His
Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan may issue a direction in writing to the Chief Syar'ie Judge.
