Amendment of section 8 of Chapter 5

Section 2
Section 8 of the Supreme Court Act, in this Order referred to as the Act, is amended -
(a)
by repealing subsection (2) and by substituting the following new subsection therefor -
"(2) His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan may remove a Judge from office on the ground of his inability to properly perform the function of his office or of his misbehaviour.";
(b)
by repealing subsection (3);
(c)
by repealing subsection (4).
