Section 7A
(1)
Notwithstanding any provision of this Act, a Subordinate Court may conduct the hearing of any matter or proceedings through a live video link, live television link or any other electronic means of communication within or outside Brunei Darussalam with such directions, which may be of general or particular nature, as may be given by the Chief Justice.
(2)
Subsection (1) does not affect the operation of section 60A of the Evidence Act (Chapter 108) and sections 236B, 236C, 236D and 236E of the Criminal Procedure Code (Chapter 7).
