Any person who, with intent to mislead or defraud, gives to any person —

(a)
a copy of any laws, regulations, rules or other document, other than the rules of a registered society, on the pretence that they are the existing rules of that society or that there are no other rules of the society; or
(b)
a copy of any rules on the pretence that those rules are the rules of a registered society when the society is not registered, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding
$5,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 2 years or both.
