(1)
Subject to any other written law, no society shall adopt any flag, symbol, emblem, badge or other insignia as its own unless such flag, symbol, emblem, badge or other insignia has been approved by the Registrar.
(2)
The Registrar may specify the conditions under which such flag, symbol, emblem, badge or other insignia may be displayed.
(3)
Any person or society who displays any flag, symbol, emblem, badge or other insignia which has not been approved by the Registrar or in contravention of any condition imposed by the Registrar is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $3,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
