(2)
Any holder of a capital markets services licence may be entitled by regulations prescribed by the Authority to become a member of a central securities depository and be permitted access to all services offered by a central securities depository.
(3)
The Authority may prescribe by regulations such other persons who may be members, participants in or users of or shareholders of the central securities depository.
(4)
A central securities depository is prohibited from distributing dividends.
(5)
The activities to be undertaken by a central securities depository are-
(a)
custodial services;
(b)
maintenance of registry books for issuers; and
(c)
such other related functions as the Authority may determine.
