Section 5
Appointment of Registrar and other officers
(1)
The Minister shall, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, appoint a Registrar of Collateral Registry for the purposes of this Act.
(2)
The Minister may appoint a Deputy Registrar and one or more
Assistant Registrars of Collateral Registry to assist the Registrar in carrying out his functions and duties under this Act.

(3)
The Registrar may, subject to such conditions as he thinks fit, delegate to the Deputy Registrar or any Assistant Registrars any of his powers or functions under this Act, except the power of delegation conferred by this subsection.
(4)
The Registrar may continue to exercise any power conferred on him or perform any function under this Act notwithstanding the delegation of such power or function under this subsection.
