Section 42
(1)
No proceedings for an offence under this Order shall be instituted except by or with the consent of the Attorney General.
(2)
Notwithstanding any written law or rule of law to the contrary, proceedings for an offence under this Order may be commenced within the period of three years from the date on which evidence, sufficient in the opinion of the Attorney General to justify the proceedings, comes to the knowledge of the Authority or, where the person against whom the proceedings may be taken was outside Brunei Darussalam at that date, within the period of three years from the date on which he first lands in Brunei Darussalam thereafter, whichever of these periods last expires.
