Liability for loss of postal articles

Section 19
Except as provided in this Act or any rules made thereunder, the registration of, or giving a receipt for, a postal article or the giving or obtaining of a certificate of posting or delivery of a postal article shall not render the Postmaster General or the Consolidated Fund in any manner liable for the loss of the article or the contents thereof.
