Appointment of Deputy Registrar
of Persons with Disabilities Act

Section 4
(1)
The Minister may, with the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and
Yang Di-Pertuan, appoint a Deputy Registrar of Persons with Disabilities to assist the Registrar in carrying out his functions and duties under this Act.
(2)
The Deputy Registrar shall be under the general direction and supervision of the Registrar.
(3)
Subject to the direction, control and supervision of the Registrar, the Deputy Registrar may exercise all the powers and functions conferred on the Registrar by or under this Act.
(4)
The appointment of the Registrar and Deputy Registrar under this section shall be published in the Gazette.
