(2)
Where the article or thing has been delivered into his custody under subsection (I), the Commissioner of Police shall arrange for it to be kept for a period not exceeding one month from the day on which it was seized pending a direction in writing from the Attorney General as to the manner in which it is to be dealt with (which may include a direction that it be sent to the foreign country).
(3)
Where, before the expiry of the period referred to in subsection (2), the
Attorney General gives a direction in respect of the article or thing, it shall be dealt with in accordance with that direction.
(4)
If no direction has been given by the Attorney General before the expiry of the period referred to in subsection (2), the Commissioner of Police shall arrange for the article or thing to be returned to the person from whose possession it was seized as soon as practicable after such expiry.
Attorney General to provide written declaration as to search and seizure.
