Section 10
(1)
No person in any area to which this Act applies, other than a midwife registered in respect of that area, shall —
(a)
take or use any name, title, addition or description implying that such person is registered under this Act in respect of such area and that such person is entitled to practise midwifery in such area; or
(b)
hold himself or herself out in any manner whatsoever as a person entitled to practise midwifery in such area.
(2)
Any person contravening the provisions of this section shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, a fine of $8,000.
