Section 260
[ 1) The Director, another Contracting State at the request of the Director or an authorised organisation shall periodically verify the proper functioning of the ship 1S safety management system.
(2)
A ship required to hold a certificate issued pursuant to sub-regulation
(3)
of regulation 258 shall be subject to control in accordance with regulation 267.
For this purpose, such certificate shall be treated as a certificate issued under regulation 13 or 14.
