Section 36
(1)
The Minister shall prescribe an ensign, which shall be the proper national colours for a Brunei Darussalam ship.
(2)
If any distinctive national colours other than the prescribed ensign are hoisted on board any Brunei Darussalam ship without the consent of the Minister, the master of the ship or the owner thereof if on board the ship, and every other person hoisting the colours shall be guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a nne not exceeding $1,000.
