Section 34
A marriage solemnised prior to 3rd August 1948, being the date of commencement of this Act shall not be void merely on account of any of the following matters —
(a)
it was not registered by the civil authority;
(b)
there was an irregularity in form or procedure;
(c)
the parties thereto or either of them were not native Christians or were not of different or of no religion.
