Any person duly authorised to solemnise a marriage who —

Section 30
(a)
knowingly and wilfully solemnises a marriage when one of the parties thereto is a minor and the consent required by section 7 has not been obtained; or
(b)
knowingly and wilfully solemnises a marriage except under a valid licence when —
(i)
the banns have not been duly published;
(ii)
the notice required under section 10 or 16 has not been duly exhibited; or
(iii)
after the expiration of 3 months after the date of the due publication of the banns or due exhibition of the notice, is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine and imprisonment for 3 years.
