Regulations
of Maritime Offences (Ships and Fixed Platforms) Act
(1)
The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, make regulations —
(a)
to give effect to the provisions of any amendment to or substitution of any international convention or agreement concerning or relating to the suppression of unlawful acts against the safety of maritime navigation and of fixed platforms located on the continental shelf that are binding on Brunei Darussalam; or
(b)
which are necessary or expedient for giving effect to and carrying out the provisions of this Act and for the due administration thereof.
(2)
Such regulations may include such incidental, consequential and supplementary provisions as the Minister considers necessary or expedient.
