Section 78
(1)
No person shall carry out or cause to be carried out any hydrographic or hydrologic survey or other study of the waters and seabed within the territorial limits of Brunei Darussalam except with the approval of the Authority.
(2)
The Authority may grant the approval referred to in subsection (1) with or without conditions or may refuse to grant such approval.
(3)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $5,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 6 months or both.
(4)
This section does not apply to any hydrographic or hydrologic survey or other study carried out for or on behalf of the Government.
