Section 3
(1)
His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan may, by notification published in the Gazette, appoint a person to be the Authority for the purposes of this Order.
(2)
The Authority may authorise or appoint any person to assist in the exercise of his powers, functions and duties under this Order, either generally or in any particular case.
(3)
Any person authorised or appointed by the Authority under subsection (2) shall be deemed to be a public servant for the purposes of the Penal Code (Chapter 22).
