Interpretation
of Legislative Council and Council of Ministers (Remuneration and Privileges) Act
(1)
In this Act, unless the context otherwise requires —
“Member” means a person appointed, nominated or elected, as the case may be, to the Legislative Council pursuant to or under the
Constitution or a Member of the Council of Ministers, and includes the Speaker;
“specified duty” means a meeting of the Legislative Council or any Committee thereof or a meeting of the Council of Ministers or any committee thereof; and includes such other meetings or duties as may be specified by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang
Di-Pertuan.

Where there is any doubt as to the interpretation or construction of this Act, the question shall be referred to His Majesty the Sultan and Yang
Di-Pertuan whose decision thereon shall be final.
