Section 33
(1)
At any meeting of strata corporation or of the committee, a power of voting —
(a)
shall not be exercised by any person who is less than 18
years of age unless it is exercised on his behalf by a person authorised by law for that purpose;
(b)
shall not be exercised by any person who is not less than 18
years of age who is by any rule of law incompetent to deal with his property unless it is exercised on his behalf by a person who is for the time being authorised by law to control or administer the unit or property to which the power of voting relates.
(2)
A proprietor’s voting rights shall not be affected by reason only of the fact that his interest in a unit is subject to a registered charge but, on

giving written notice to the strata corporation, the chargee shall be entitled to exercise those rights —
(a)
in accordance with any provision to that effect in the charge;
or
(b)
so long as he is in possession of the unit.
