Short title
Interpreta-tion
"company" means a company formed or reg-cap.
istered in Brunei under the Companies Act;
"Court" means the High Court;
"Land Officer" means the officer in charge of the
Land Office and includes any officer specially appointed by His Majesty the Sultan and Yang
Di-Pertuan to perform the functions of a Land
Officer under this Act;
"person interested" includes every person claim-ing an interest in compensation to be paid on account of the acquisition of land under this Act but does not include a tenant by the month or at will;
"register" and "document of title" have the same cap.
meaning as in the Land Code.
