Section 17
(1)
Every employer who fails to make payment in accordance with the provisions of section 11 or contravenes the provisions of section 14 shall be guilty of an offence: Penalty, a fine of $1,500 or in default thereof imprisonment for 6 months.

A court may in any proceedings under this section order the payment of such wages as are found due by an employer together with such sum or sums for damages, costs, and expenses as it shall deem fit.
