Section 64
(1)
A person is guilty of an offence if, in connection with any application or any document required or made for the purposes of this Order, or in compliance or purported compliance with any requirement of this Order or otherwise for the purposes of this Order –
(a)
he wilfully makes a statement which he knows or has reasonable cause to believe to be false, deceptive or misleading in a material particular;
(b)
he recklessly makes a statement, dishonestly or otherwise, which is false, deceptive or misleading in a material particular;
(c)
he wilfully produces or furnishes or causes or permits to be produced or furnished any information or document which he knows or has reasonable cause to believe to be false, deceptive or misleading in a material particular; or
(d)
he recklessly produces or furnishes or recklessly causes or permits to be produced or furnished, dishonestly or otherwise, any information or document which is false, deceptive or misleading in a material particular.
(2)
A person guilty of an offence under this section shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $200,000 and to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years.
