Section 57
of International Insurance and Takaful Order, 2002
Section 57
The interest of a person in a long-term policy, whether issued before or after the commencement of this Order, shall be forfeited when such person is the principal or an accomplice in wilfully bringing about the death of the life insured. When such is the case, a contingent beneficiary named by the insured in the policy shall receive the insurance unless that contingent beneficiary was also such a principal or an accomplice. If no contingent beneficiary is named by the insured in the policy or if all contingent beneficiaries named by the insured in the policy were such principals or accomplices, the personal representatives of the insured shall be entitled to the insurance.
Beneficiary may enforce policy or contract.
