Section 22
(1)
The Attorney General may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and
Yang Di-Pertuan, make regulations to provide for extension of time for any period of time specified for the doing of any act in relation to an application for registration or in proceedings under this Order or any rules or regulations made thereunder, not being proceedings in court.
(2)
The regulations may contain such provision as the Attorney General thinks fit regulating the circumstances in which such an extension may be granted and may also provide for the protection and compensation of persons affected by the grant of extension of time and may authorise the Registrar to grant an extension of time notwithstanding that the period has already expired.
