Section 20
(1)
An applicant may withdraw his application for registration of an industrial design by filing a notice of withdrawal with the Registrar before the date on which preparations for publication under section 26 have been completed, as determined by the Registrar.
(2)
A notice under this section shall be made in writing and filed in the prescribed manner.
(3)
Where a notice is filed in accordance with this section, the application shall be deemed to have been abandoned.
(4)
A notice filed in accordance with this section is irrevocable.
