Section 45
(1)
When any such claim is made as provided under section 44(2), the Director may, after making such inquiry as he thinks fit, either reject the claim after recording his reasons for doing so or deliver the timber to the claimant.
(2)
If such timber is claimed by more than one person, the Director may either deliver the timber to any of such persons as he deems to be entitled thereto or may refer the claimants to the civil court pending the receipt of an order from such court for its disposal.
