Section 43
(1)
Timber found adrift, beached, stranded or sunk, or which is not in the possession or under the control of any person, shall be deemed to be the property of the Government unless or until any person establishes his right thereto as provided in this Act.
(2)
Such timber may be collected by any forest officer or other person duly authorised under this Act and may be brought to any convenient place pending action under section 44.
