Promotion of development and management of inland fisheries

Section 28
The Director may promote the development and management of inland fisheries through —
(a)
the conduct or co-ordination of research;
(b)
the provision and maintenance of experimental and demonstration aquaculture stations, fishbreeding stations and training centres;
(c)
the provision of advice and technical assistance;
(d)
the provision of publicity and demonstration facilities and other connected services; and

(e)
the provision of advice on measures for the prevention of fish diseases.
