Section 6
(1)
An exit charge and an entry charge shall be payable on every occasion any vehicle intends to enter or leave, or enters or leaves,
Brunei Darussalam by land respectively.

(2)
Where the intended entry into or leaving Brunei Darussalam, or the entry into or leaving Brunei Darussalam, is by means of a vehicle, the driver of the vehicle shall be liable to pay the charges imposed on the vehicle.
(3)
Any person who contravenes subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 months or both.
