His Majesty may appoint such Assistant Control-lers of Foreign Exchange as he may think fit and may, by notification in the Gazette, authorise any such Assistant
Controller to exercise and perform all or any of the powers and duties of the Controller under this Act.
(3)
The Controller and his assistants shall exercise their powers under the Act subject to such directions as to general policy and rules and orders as may from time to time be prescribed by His Majesty in Council.
