Section 25
(1)
Except with the permission of the Controller, no person shall export from Brunei -
(a)
any notes of a class which are or have at any time been legal tender in Brunei or in any other territory;
(b)
any postal orders;
(c)
any gold;
(d)
any of the following documents (including such document which has been cancelled), that is to say-
(i)
any certificate of title to a security and any coupon;
(ii)
any policy of assurance;
(iii)
any bill of exchange or promissory note ex-pressed in terms of a currency other than that of a scheduled territory and payable otherwise than within the scheduled territories; or 29

(iv)
any document to which section 7 applies not issued by an authorised dealer or in pursuance of a permission granted by the Controller;
or any document certifying the description, loss or cancellation of any of the documents aforesaid; or
(e)
any such articles exported on the person of a traveller or in a traveller's baggage as may be pre-scribed.
(2)
In this section, the expression "note" includes part of a note, the expression "security" includes a secon-dary security and the expression "coupon" shall be con-strued in accordance with the meaning of "security".
