IMPORT AND EXPORT

(1)

Except with the permission of the Controller, no person shall import into Brunei -

(a)

any notes of a dass which are or have at any time been legal tender in Brunei or any such other

Exchange Control notes as may be specified by order of the Control-ler in the Gazette, being notes issued by a bank or notes of a class which are or have at any time been legal tender in any territory; or

(b)

any certificate of title to any security, includ-ing any such certificate which has been cancelled and any document certifying the destruction, loss or cancellation of any certificate of title to a secur-ity.

(2)

In this section the expression "note" includes part of a note and the expression "security" includes a secondary security.
