Section 62

enters into any contract of service or gives any remuneration for services which is contrary to the provisions of this

Part or is declared by this Part to be illegal; or

receives any payment from any employee contrary to the provisions of this Part or who contravenes section 61(2), is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $1,000, and for a second or subsequent offence to a fine not exceeding $2,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
