Section 4
(1)
“Disaster” means a serious disruption in a community, caused by the impact of an event, that requires a significant co-ordinated response by
Brunei Darussalam to help that community recover from that disruption.
(2)
In this section, “serious disruption” means —
(a)
loss of human life, or illness or injury to humans;
(b)
widespread or severe loss or damage to property; or
(c)
widespread or severe damage to the environment.
