Section 7

The Commissioner may, with the approval of the Minister, in writing appoint any authorised officer to assist the Commissioner in exercising the powers under Part 4.

In exercising any of the powers of enforcement under Part 4, an authorised officer shall, on demand, produce to the person against whom the authorised officer is acting the authority issued to the authorised officer by the Commissioner.

All authorised officers are deemed to be public servants for the purposes of the Penal Code (Chapter 22).
