Section 332
Refusal to give evidence
If any witness before a Court of a Magistrate -
(a)
refuses to answer such questions as are put to him or to produce any document in his possession or power which the Court requires him to produce; and

(b)
does not offer any reasonable excuse for such refusal, the Court may for reasons to be recorded in writing, sentence him to imprisonment for 14 days, unless in the meantime such person consents to be examined and to answer or to produce the document. In the event of his persisting in this refusal, he may be dealt with according to the provisions of section 328 or 330, notwithstanding any sentence he may have undergone under this section.
Appeal 333.
(1)
Any person sentenced by any lower Court under the provisions of this Chapter may appeal to the Court to which an appeal ordinarily lies.
(2)
The provisions of Chapter XXVIII, so far as they are applicable, apply to appeals under this section.
(3)
The provisions of Chapter XXIX also apply to all proceedings by a Magistrate under this Chapter.
