Section 292

In all proceedings under this and the following Chapter, an appellate Court shall have power to award such costs or expenses as the

Court thinks fit to be paid by or to the parties thereto.

Costs awarded to be paid by the Public Prosecutor shall be provided out of the general revenue of Brunei Darussalam and be payable by the Permanent Secretary to the Ministry of Finance and Economy and the

Public Prosecutor shall not be personally liable therefor.

Costs awarded to be paid to the Public Prosecutor shall be paid by the party ordered to pay the costs to the Permanent Secretary of the

Ministry of Finance and Economy.
