If, in the course of or consequent upon an inspection under section 35, it appears that an offence against this Act has been committed, the Registrar or any public officer authorised by him in writing to make such inspection may enter any premises belonging to or occupied by the registered society and may seize and detain any books, accounts, papers, securities, device, apparatus, material computer program or the computer software of the registered society which may furnish evidence of an offence against this

Act.
