Section 25

If an order is made under section 22 placing a child in a place of safety or in the custody of a fi.t person or in the charge of a foster parent, then the person in charge of the place of safety, such fi.t person or such foster parent shall have the like control of the child as the parent and shall be responsible for his maintenance,

and the child shall continue in the care of such person notwithstanding that the child is claimed by his guardian or any other person.
