Section 41
(1)
The Director shall grant leave of absence to a resident to enable him to visit his parents and relatives or, if in his opinion the grant of such leave is impracticable or undesirable, arrangements may be made by the Superintendent for the resident to utilise his period of leave with a suitable foster-family as the
Director may approve.
(2)
The resident shall be examined by a medical officer as soon as practicable after the resident's return to the place of safety.
