Secretary
of Brunei Darussalam National Accreditation Council Act
(1)
The appointment of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of
Education as secretary to the Council under section 5(2) is subject to such conditions as His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan may determine.
(2)
The secretary shall be responsible for the overall administration and management of the functions and day-to-day affairs of the Council.
(3)
The secretary shall perform such further duties as the Chairman or
Council may direct.
(4)
In performing his duties, the secretary shall act under the general authority and directions of the Council.
(5)
The Minister may appoint one or more other persons to assist the secretary in the performance of his duties and the exercise of his powers under this Act.
(6)
If for any reason the secretary is unable to perform the duties of his office, the most senior officer of the Secretariat shall perform the duties of the secretary.
