Section 50

The Minister may, in his discretion, in writing compound any offence under this Act or the regulations which is prescribed as being an offence which may be compounded, by collecting from the person reasonably suspected of having committed the offence a penalty not exceeding $1,000.

The Minister may, with the approval of His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, make regulations prescribing the offences which may be compounded.
