Section 18

When an inquest is held into death of any person, the Magistrate holding such inquest shall, within 24 hours after the conclusion thereof, forward a certified copy of his finding to the Deputy Registrar of the registration area within which the death took place, and the cause of death as stated in such finding shall be entered on the appropriate page of the registration book and on the counterfoil thereof.
