This Order may be cited as the Anti-Terrorism Order, 2011 and shall commence on a date to be appointed by the Minister, with the approval of His

Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan, by notification in the Gazette.

The long title of this Order is "An Order to suppress terrorism, to give effect to any international obligation relating to the combating of terrorism and for matters connected therewith or incidental thereto".
