Section 6
(1)
The Minister may, with the consent of His Majesty the Sultan and
Yang Di-Pertuan, make orders —
(a)
specifying the countries or territories or the parts of any country or territory from which animals, or any specified kinds of animals, may be imported or transhipped either with or without restriction; or
(b)
prohibiting, either absolutely or conditionally, the import and transhipment from any specified country or territory or any specified part of a country or territory of any carcase, semen, fodder, litter, dung or any product of animals, or any article or substance, that is likely to convey or spread any disease.
(2)
Any person who contravenes the provisions of any order made under subsection (1) is guilty of an offence and liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000, imprisonment for a term not exceeding one year or both.
