Section 7
Meetings of Council
of Allied Health Professions of Brunei Darussalam Act
(1)
The Chairman shall preside at any meeting of the Council and, in his absence, the members present may elect from amongst themselves a person to be the Chairman for that meeting.
(2)
The Council shall meet at such times and places as the Chairman may appoint.
(3)
The quorum at every meeting of the Council shall be one-third of the total number of members or four members, whichever is the higher; and no business shall be transacted at any meeting unless a quorunz is present.
(4)
The Chairman of a meeting of the Council shall have an original vote and, in the case of an equality of votes, a casting vote.

(5)
Subject to subsection (3), the Council may act notwithstanding any vacancy in the membership of the Council.
(6)
Subject to the provisions of this Act, the Council may regulate its own procedure.
(7)
The Council shall cause proper records of its proceedings to be kept.

(8)
All acts done by or under the authority of the Council shall, notwithstanding any vacancy in the Council or that it is afterwards discovered that there was a defect in the appointment or qualification of any person reporting to be a member thereof, be valid as if no vacancy or defect had existed.
