Section 12

When an adoption order is made by the Court in respect of a child and thereupon the adopter persistently ill-treats the child or fails to comply with any term or condition imposed in the adoption order which may affect adversely the welfare of the child, the Court may, taking into account the welfare of the child, order the child to be taken from him and handed over to any other person or any institution.
